CHARLES VII (1403-1461) King of France. Charter in his name, January 30, 1425 [1426]; chancery signatures; oblong vellum, folio (22.5 x 44.5 cm), remnants of red wax seal; in Latin.
Royal letters addressed to the count of Provence against the vigilant of Grasse who prohibited the people of Nice and others who carried wheat and other goods to Grasse from coming there, and pursued them as criminals, and prevented their passage near the moats; commandment is made to the vigilant not to disturb this community which is repairing the walls.
