PARIS 1737–1738 Oval-shaped snuffbox in 750°/°° yellow gold with a scalloped edge, Rocaille style, hinged lid, featuring chiseled along the rim depicting curved channels, flowering branches, and seashells on the lid and on the reverse, a Rocaille cartouche in the center framing a bouquet of seashells. Hallmarks: letter X for September 1737–1738, fox-head mark (1738–1744). H.: 2 cm - L.: 6.4 cm - W.: 4.5 cm Net weight: 84 g (Dent on the reverse side of the lid).
