Curious file on a lawsuit to ban Abel Guérin de la Piverdière, born in 1801, from a prominent family near Angers, for mental alteration resulting from the abuse of women and the practice of onanism. Consultations and certificates from doctors (Bretonneau, Garnier, Guépin, Guérin du Grandlaunay, Lacheze), decisions signed by members of the family council, legal documents, court judgments, inventories, etc. The documents bear the seal of the Archives of Count Chappaz de la Prat.
