Cuirassier helmet, model 1858. Punch-marked iron "L. Cimier" with gadroon, ring chinstrap, marmoset decorated with laurel leaves and rain screen imitating a braid, brass plumet holder and snap ring. Leather chinstrap lining. Black horsehair mane and red horsehair puff. Black leather nape and visor lining and inner cap. Navy calfskin headband (minor repairs). Scarlet plumeet with posterior olive.
