British reserve naval officer's saber. Handle covered with coarse-grained shagreen. Chased brass mounting. Lion-head pommel with screw rivet. Wrap-around hilt with anchor under crown, marked "RNR" and stamped "WH". Folding counterplate. Straight blade rubbed with engraving and Robertson maker's mark. Patent leather belt with three gilded brass fittings. Length : 97 cm A.B.E. 20th century.
