Royal Gendarmerie officer's saber. Basane-covered handle with double brass filigree. Brass mounting, model 1816, cap engraved with a fleur-de-lys, 4-prong hilt and curved quillon. Non-regulation officer's blade engraved with trophies and foliage in thirds. Old red arm tie. Sheet-iron scabbard with two brass bracelets. Fine point-cut iron sting. Length: 100.5 cm A.B.E. (Wear and tear). Restoration period.
