Court sword, British. Filigreed fuse. Chased and gilded brass mounting. Crown-decorated pommel. Guard with one branch and two straight quillons. Keyboard with palm and laurel motifs. Lenticular blade engraved two-thirds of the way up with foliage scrolls and crossed spears, marked VR under crown. Remnant leather scabbard with two brass fittings (broken and missing). Length : 97 cm Second half of the 19th century. A.B.E.
