Introduction by Hilton Kramer. Publisher's boards in illustrated dust jacket. Most of the photographs in this book were taken in the 1930s, but the photographer had to wait until the mid-1970s to see this work published, edited by Nicolas Ducrot. The dust jacket is worn, with tears, tape and a small loss; nevertheless, the book, excluding dust jacket, is in very good condition, and above all features a dedication and signature by the photographer, which is uncommon on this work.
