Light cavalry officer's saber à la chasseur. Leather-covered handle with double copper filigree. Line-decorated brass mounting, three-point hilt, two shuttle-shaped auricles and quillon curved towards the tip. Curved Solingen blade with flat back and counter-edge, engraved, gilded and one-third blued (wear), signed "S&K". Sheet-iron scabbard with two bracelets and two brass rings. Asymmetrical iron sting. Length: 104 cm A.B.E. circa 1810.
