MODERNIST WORK FROM THE 1930S Medium-sized table in brown-stained and ceruse-stained oak. The rectangular base, trimmed with nickel-plated metal all around, accommodates two large cylindrical pylons joined at the top by a rounded entablature at the ends. The top, with its arched ends, is made of glass slab cast on a bed of sand and secured by two circular nickel-plated metal lozenges. The metal parts are heavily oxidized, the nickel plating is missing and worn, and the entablature has a skip of veneer (under a metal pastille). H.80cm - L.170cm - L.90cm
