GABRIEL ARGY-ROUSSEAU (1885-1953) - COLLECTION MADAME X. Modern foliage, model created in [1925]. Shell-shaped night-light decorated with geometric motifs of stylized flowers in relief; complete with base. Proof in polychrome glass paste; black, brick. The wrought-iron base is hooped with motifs in a variation of the night-light's design. Signed G. ARGY-ROUSSEAU in the decoration, and marked France on the base.
