Exhibitions : - L'empreinte, Centre Pompidou, Paris, February 19 - May 12, 1997 (label under the Plexiglas). - César, Tête à têtes, Galerie Henri Creuzevault, Paris, March - April 1973, a similar work exhibited. On the occasion of the Tête à têtes exhibition at the Henri Creuzevault gallery in March-April 1973, Michel Conil-Lacoste wrote in Le Monde: "Five years ago, in Düsseldorf, we were able to suck a thumb of César in barley sugar and lick compressed berlingot ingots signed by the same artist. But it's César himself, or more precisely his chief, molded into a brioche in the ovens of Poilâne, the most Parisian of master bakers, and sliced like holy bread, who is to be fed to the Marseille sculptor's guests this Thursday afternoon, on the occasion of his vernissage at Colette Creuzevault". This work is registered in the Denyse Durand Ruel Archives under no. 5459.
