King's bodyguard flintlock pistol model 1816, 2nd model. Round barrel with thundered sides, thunder-struck "DT", "13th Lon". Lock engraved "Mre Royale de Versailles". Brass bail. Round-bodied hound. Cut brass fittings. Counterplate marked "C. Noailles". Oval pommel with three fleur-de-lys. Mouthpiece stamped "N°156". Walnut stock. Iron ramrod. A.B.E. (small wood fracture at the back of the lock). Restoration period. This pistol later served in the 13th Legion of the National Guard (Paris National Guard).
