CLAUDE PARENT (1923-2016) - A MAJOR PROJECT BY THE ARCHITECT FOR A MODERN TOWNHOUSE IN NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE, FRANCE Specially designed and produced exclusively for the private mansion of Mr. and Mrs. X., 1992-1993 Exceptional rectangular coffee table with asymmetrical legs. Each leg, one of which protrudes from the top, is made of Macassar ebony veneer on cut-out runners adorned with chromed metal plates. The top has a black lacquered belt; the herringbone top is upholstered in cognac leather and Macassar ebony veneer, with the central part enhanced by chrome-plated metal facing. Complete with center-cut glass top. Made by Ateliers Saint-Jacques.
