Ceramic flask, Ottoman Turkey, Iznik, 17th century Spherical flask on a truncated-cone foot, the body surmounted by a neck with a central projection, and flanked by four suspension rings. Siliceous ceramic with polychrome floral decoration under a transparent glaze, the neck decorated with mandorles, a fleuron formed of red palmettes painted between the suspension rings.
