A very fine proof printed slightly askew on strong ivory laid paper, from an undescribed state, before copper reduction, another composition lightly set in drypoint in the right-hand part, unsigned. Slight oxidation and a few light freckles at the edges of the folio. Full margins. Very rare: only a few signed state proofs are known, and none before copper reduction as here.
