Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) Springtime. 1882-1888. Drypoint. 100 x 147. Delteil 4; Thorson IV. Good proof of a pale, lightly inked print on strong cream vellum. Oxidation and foxing at the edges of the folio, more marked on the verso. Fold broken in lower left corner. Full margins. Plate intended to illustrate R. Marx, "Les Pointes sèches de Rodin", article published in the Gazette des Beaux-Arts, March 1, 1902, of which our proof is probably a trial proof.
