VIENNA circa 1900 Second-title silver cigarette case, gilded silver interior, with multiple compartments, engraved with parallel bands, the push-button adorned with a blue stone cabochon. German hallmarks and R (for registered design). Weight : 338 g - length : 10 cm - width : 8.5 cm Model attributed to Georg Adam Scheid (1838 - 1921) A similar model appears in the book dedicated to this silversmith: "A remarkable Viennese silversmith" by Eric SCHALING on page 53 "folding cigarette case, silver with gilded interior".
