Very fine edition published by Compagnie de Saint-Gobain for the inauguration of its Castera glacerie, illustrated with 14 original drypoints by Bernard BUFFET (1928-1999), including 13 full-page and one on the second cover. The book features thirteen excerpts from texts about Naples written by various authors since the eighteenth century. Preface by Gino Doria in Italian. Edition of 300 numbered copies on Arches wove paper, signed by Bernard Buffet at the justification. Enriched with one of the rare suites of 14 drypoints on laid paper, neither signed nor numbered, presented under a double cover, one filled with paper, the other printed. Small tear at the top of the spine of the slipcase, otherwise a very well preserved copy.
