An ancient and lovely little commemorative head often called Krinjabo, from the town of the same name in southeastern Côte d'Ivoire in Akan territory, it is adorned with a medallion braided bun on the front. Agni or Ashanti, Ivory Coast or Ghana Terracotta, sacrificial material, visible wear and tear, very nice patina. H. 12 cm Provenance : Collection Nadine Vinot-Postry, Paris.
