Félix IBARRONDO (born 1943). Autograph musical manuscript, Onyx for harpsichord and percussion, 1984; 22 sheets, 35 x 26.5 cm. Piece for harpsichord and percussion, premiered on July 15, 1984 at the Festival international d'Art chrétien de Digne-les-Bains, in the Notre-Dame de Bourg cathedral, by Noëlle Spieth on harpsichord and Pierre Gasquet on percussion. Commissioned by the French Ministry of Culture, the work lasts 12 minutes 30 seconds. The manuscript is carefully written in Indian ink on tracing paper, and dated at the end "Asnières 1-I/31-III-84". The title is calligraphied, with details of the percussion: 5 woodblocks, 2 bongos, 5 toms, 2 m'tumbas (or Saharan drums), high cymbal, Chinese cymbal, vibraphone. There are many traces of correction by scratching. It was used for the clichage, with a cut-out at the top of the first page.
