It then turned to jewellery and then to jewellery-making. In 1921 it became Italian and it was his grandsons who moved to Paris and opened a store at 19 rue de la Paix, then branches in London, Monte Carlo, Naples, Deauville... Grandson of Léopoldo, Alberto Janesich, who became French, inherited the family talent and honoured the Art Deco fashion through his designs and his pure lines. The production of high jewellery which shone in the 1930s extended to accessories (cases, powder cases, hand faces) and watchmaking with the help of the Verger brothers, for the movements, an extraordinary House which supplied the greatest such as Vacheron Constantin with whom they were often associated, but also Cartier, Lacloche Frères, Marzo, Van Cleef and Arpels, Ostertag, Jaeger, to mention but a few. The firm belonged to the Janesich family until its closure in 1968, after 133 years of production.
