A beautiful and ancient basalt club, patu onewa, carefully carved. A prestigious weapon, it was handed down from generation to generation, in the paternal line. Maori, New Zealand, Polynesia Basalt, visible restoration in the upper part, small old chips around the edge, slight discoloration on one side (at the back of the base) due to long exposure to the sun, otherwise very beautiful old patina.
