A beautiful old mask, which could be a zakpei gei mask. This type of mask, with its eyes surrounded by a red wolf, was used to warn of dangers as part of the village's protection against fires and bushfires. However, the sheer number and diversity of masks and their variants among the Dan of Côte d'Ivoire or Liberia, rarely allow us to assert the precise name and use of a mask, in the absence of precise collection information.
