An ancient mask with a beautiful presence and almost geometric cheekbone treatment, reminiscent of certain very ancient Dan styles and recalling the influence that took place (in one direction or another) with other Mandé groups further west, such as the Toma and Guerzé. This mask still wears its original headdress of finely braided and dyed fibers.
