Lemoine featuring two portraits of Rossini, in Naples in 1820 after Mayer, and in Paris in 1850 after a photograph by Numa Blanc. Rossini inscribed, in black pencil, this dedication: "Souvenir de reconnaissance offert à Mr Cazaux de l'Opéra G. Rossini Passy de Paris 1864".
