ORDRE de la RÉUNION. Gold and enamel knight's cross (35.5 mm) with twelve dappled points. Two-part center with, on the obverse, N in a laurel wreath and, on the reverse, the imperial throne behind the She-wolf of Rome suckling Romus and Romulus and, in the blue enamel circle, the legend "Tout pour l'Empire"; hinged crown with slight trace of bonding. Two small imperfections to the white enamel on the reverse (chip and repair). Two Dutch "G" hallmarks (Tardy p. 248). Light blue ribbon with vintage bouffette (Collignon 549). VERY GOOD.
