ORDER OF THE LEGION OF HONOR PRESIDENCY (1851-1852). Commander's star (60 mm) in enameled gold with tie. On obverse, right bust of the Emperor on a radiant field with an accident, and on reverse, left eagle on a thunderbolt on a lined field. Red enameled trigger guard with restored mobile crown attachment. Model Collignon 417, except for the top of the crown which has a cruciger globe. Eagle head hallmark. Minor restorations to the white enamels and some missing green enamels. VERY GOOD CONDITION.
