Total edition of 55 copies, this one, very fresh, one of the 5 justified H.C., signed by the author and by the artist. Brown cloth portfolio decorated with a design by the artist on the upper cover, beige cloth slipcase of the edition, also decorated on the upper cover. This is the first book that Butor produced in association with a painter. The editor asked the writer for a text after having submitted the engravings.
