Ader is one of the leading auction houses in France. Our auction house was founded in 1692 in Paris. Under the direction of auctioneers Maurice LAIR-DUBREUIL, Etienne ADER, and Rémi ADER, our auction house made its mark in the 20th century with the historic auctions of collections belonging to David-Weill, André Lefèvre, Sacha Guitry, Rothschild, Patino, etc. Since 2005, under the direction of David NORDMANN, Ader has experienced a new boom. With a growth of more than 20% each year and a young and dynamic team, we are creating one of the most successful pages in our history. Every year Ader organizes more than 50 catalogued auctions in all specialties and the entire team is at your disposal to guide or accompany you in the mysterious and captivating universe of the art market.
FAVART STREET
The flagship location is situated rue Favart in Paris, in front of the Opéra Comique, and a few minutes walk from Drouot. The rue Favart location has in fact been the headquarters of Ader auction house throughout the 20th century. The offices are vast, elegant, and funtional with an exhibition/auction room.
MADELEINE MICHELIS: SECOND LOCATION
Since May 2013, Ader has opened new offices in Neuilly-sur-Seine at 42 rue Madeleine Michelis. This second office aims at optimizing the quality of our customer service by offering a close service. You can make an appointment for your inventories and/or estimations, consult catalogues, leave an absentee bid, and deposit objects, paintings, jewelry, and furniture.
