Three iron tsuba, Japan, Edo period, 19th century - One of kawari gata form with maru bori sukashi decoration of three nasu (eggplant), some elements on the tail enhanced by gold nunome zogan inlays. Signed Bushu ju Masahisa - 武州住正久. 7.4 x 7.1 cm. - The second in iron, of maru gata form with omokada (trifoliate sagittaria) decoration in ito sukashi. Signed Efu ju Masahide - 江符住正英. 7.2 x 6.9 cm. - The third in maru gata iron with maru bori sukashi decoration of rice ears. Signature difficult to read but probably Choshu Hagi ju Tomoyasu - 長州萩住友久. 7 x 6.8 cm
