LOUIS MAJORELLE (1859-1926) - COLLECTION MADAME X. Flight of a dragonfly over a lily pond Precious walnut chair. The front legs are twisted and each rest on a bulbous landing, while the rear legs extend into ribbed back posts and a low bar. The backrest has a chalice-shaped central cut-out and is decorated with precious and indigenous wood marquetry. The trapeze-shaped seat is upholstered in non-original brown leather.
