JEAN DESPRÉS (1889-1980) Exceptional pair of table ends, forming a pair of candelabras with two lights each, in silver-plated metal. Each circular base with hammered surface receives the wide cylindrical shaft decorated with a frieze of large spheres, also treated smooth, on its base. The rectangular plates with hammered surfaces each house two smooth-finish bobèches and a double central gripping ring. Each table end is signed J. DESPRÉS, at the point below its base.
