First edition of one of the most interesting books on Parisian life at the end of the 19th century, illustrated with 200 color compositions in the text by Pierre VIDAL. One of the 100 numbered copies on Japanese paper. It includes the printed cover, 3 states of the illustrated cover (in black, in color before the letter, in final state), the publication prospectus and the subscription form. Very nice copy bound by Carayon. The state in color before the letter of the second cover is disbound.
