Full black cloth decorated with 4 horizontal beige stripes running across the dishes and spine, author and title carried by hand and large circular piece of parchment decorated with a chiselled and painted composition representing a cup with 3 Easter eggs in the centre on the first dish, smooth spine, blue head, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved, slipcase (time binding). Original edition of this collection of madrigals, illustrated with 25 full-page compositions by Raoul DUFY (1877-1953), coloured by Richard. Edition of 1110 copies; this is one of the first 20 on Rives vellum in the form containing a series of compositions in black. The colour in this print is of great beauty. Nice copy in a slightly posterior binding, unsigned, including on the first cover a round piece of parchment decorated with a chiselled painting of one of the illustrations of the book.
