It is advertised in this year's Bibliographie de la France. Each album is divided into volumes of 10 lithographs, with an illustrated cover including the title of the series hand-marked in a cartouche. The proofs are all on vellum paper. Includes :- Thomas Vireloque's words (20 lithographs). - Les Partageuses (40 lithographs). - Les Lorettes vieillillies ( 30 lithographs). - Les Invalides du sentiment (30 lithographs). All these series are part of the Masks and Faces that Gavarni began to publish from the 1850's . Some dirt on the covers and tears on the back and edges of some covers. The lithographs are in a perfect state of freshness.
