Complete collection of this album comprising 6 original color-enhanced lithographs from the first edition by Henry Monnier, which appeared separately between December 28, 1839, and January 25, 1840 (see Bibliographie de la France). Each plate consists of several humorous scenes featuring characters from all social classes (aristocrats, artists, students, etc.). A fine copy in a later binding, without a title page.
