Set of textiles including a jacket, pants, shoes, and a child’s collar, China, 19th–20th century The child’s outfit, consisting of a jacket buttoned on the right, pants, and shoes, is made of red damask silk decorated with bamboo, lingzhi, and plum blossoms. The shoes are embroidered with a chrysanthemum. The red silk collar is embroidered with polychrome and metallic threads depicting a four-clawed dragon in medallions surrounded by peaches, flowers, bats, and leiwen friezes.
