Agate snuffbox with a “ribboned” design, China, 1750–1850 Trapezoidal in shape with rounded contours, the light-colored agate is highly translucent in the lower section, then features a natural pattern of a horizontal white vein in the center of the body, and finally an opaque café au lait color up to the neck.
