Congratulations on the birth of a daughter: “You truly deserve to be scolded, knowing the friendship I have for Madame Hérault and the interest I take in everything that happens to you, for letting me learn from public reports that she has given birth to a daughter”; she offers her congratulations and scolds him “as you deserve, for in truth, sir, this behavior is appalling.”
