[ROSH HASHANAH] Decorative carved wooden dish. In the center, it depicts a man wrapped in a tallit blowing the shofar. It bears the Hebrew inscription: “Blow the great shofar for our liberation.” It is dated 1917 in Hebrew. Around the rim, it is carved with a design of ears of wheat, sickles, and fruit. Probably Germany. Early 20th century.
