[WORLD WAR II TESTIMONIES]
Exhibition Catalog: Hitler’s Crimes. No place, n.d. [1945]
Very rare in-4 brochure (21 x 17 cm) from the exhibition held at the Grand Palais in Paris between June 10 and July 30, 1945. 32 pages. Cover page detached. Numerous black-and-white photographs.
This exhibition opened just as the surviving deportees were arriving in Paris. It was visited by nearly 500,000 people and had an immense impact.

Given their shocking nature or the fact that they violate human dignity, we have decided not to reproduce certain photos or documents. However, these photos were taken and published to serve as evidence of the crimes committed by the Nazis. Some were even taken by the camp liberators and distributed by the Ministry of Information. We therefore believe it is important that they continue to serve this purpose and bear witness to the suffering endured by the Jewish people. These photos will be made available only upon request.
