Bound in red velvet (very faded), with red-pink silk serpents and counterguards. Under the aegis of Charles II King of Spain (1661-1700), with his signature "Yo el Rey" (signature stamp) confirmation of the title granted to Don Gutierre de Menesses Luna y Capata, Conde de Foncalada, "para si y sus herederos y subzesores".
