Suite of six mahogany chairs, with openwork backs decorated with stylized lyres and rosettes, resting on baluster spool legs terminating in spheres and saber-shaped back legs; (small accident to one of the backs). Stamped by Jacob Frères Consulate period H. 89 cm, L. 46 cm A similar chair, now in the Château de Sceaux, was at the Château de Meudon in the early 19th century.
