Cavalry flintlock snap hook model 1777-An IX. Round barrel with thunderbolts dated "1813". Breech shank with remnants of "AN 9" marking. Lock (cleaned) engraved "Manuf Imp de St Etienne" and round-bodied hammer. Uniformly stamped iron and brass fittings. Counterplate screw changed. Iron rod with ring, Walnut stock with "1813" stamp and Bouny shield (faded). Iron ramrod with truncated cone-shaped head. Barrel length: 75.5 cm - Overall length: 114.5 cm A.B.E. (chips around the lock, missing tangs).
