PIERRE CRUÈGE (1913-2003) - COLLECTION FRANCE CRUÈGE DE FORCEVILLE Unique piece made circa 1960 for Michel Maurice-Bokanowski (1912-2005) minister under the presidencies of General De Gaulle and Georges Pompidou. Desk entirely upholstered in original black leather. The top has two suspended drawers in the center and four pivoting drawers on the sides; the handles and key escutcheons are in silvered brass. The top is paved with ivory stingray tiles. The tubular metal base, also sheathed in black leather; the flat metal H-shaped spacer, the silver-plated brass leg receivers. Peeling and yellowing of the shagreen checks.
