"our feelings were the same, on the most sensitive loss for you, and for me, first of all of the most lively and profound sorrow, and then of the sweetest consolations by the idea of the happiness enjoyed by this Angel who was a fruit ripe for Eternity, and of which the world was no longer worthy. Judge how much these consolations drawn from our Holy Religion have helped me to bear a blow, which, without a very particular help from God's Mercy, I should have been overwhelmed by [...] I am doing well and only care for the happiness of this dear sister, who still makes me bear all the afflictions of this miserable life, by the hope that she will be my Protectress in the sight of God"... She goes on to speak of Mme de Coetlogon, whose "virtue increases day by day, she is a true Angel"...
