He has ordered the S. de Bourg to "raise & put over a regiment of ten companies of footmen and one hundred men each"; he wishes two of these companies to be raised in the city of Lyon, and instructs La Guiche to raise them: "je feray leur donner moyen de vivre en attendant qu'ilz se rendent en mon armée de sorte qu'ilsz ne seront aucunement a la foull des habitans de mad. ville ny de ceulx du plat pais"...
