Porcelain snuffbox in the form of a double gourd with erotic decoration, China, 1780-1850 The bottle, in the shape of a flattened double gourd, is molded and polychromatically enameled with erotic scenes in cartouches on a gold-enameled background. On each side, a rounded reserve at the top and a lobed reserve at the bottom are decorated with nude or frolicking figures. The foot is concave and the neck flared.
