Blue and gold enameled molded porcelain vase decorated with dragons and Buddhist objects, China, 19th century The ovoid vase is enameled in robin's egg blue, the background with a molded swastika motif. The body is enamelled in black and gold with the eight precious objects of Buddhism and two medallions showing a dragon in the clouds in pursuit of the flaming pearl. The neck and bottom of the bowl are surrounded by motifs of banana leaves, ruyi and leiwen heads in black and gold. The base bears an apocryphal six-character Qianlong mark in Zhuanshu.
